Roger that!

She used to belong to MY doctor (AME)!

Before he bought the 993 (back in 1996) he had a Testarossa. He quickly began to despise it.
Doc Ray: "I'd go into the garage, in the morning, all pumped up for a drive -- and the damn thing wouldn't start -- or I'd come BACK from a drive ...only to discover that something had fallen off...!"

^Gerry, see you there. I'll probably be driving the 1988 911 Black Cab that my brother-in-law left to me two years ago. It's finally coming together and I want do drive it some place other than back and forth between shops!

Ilko, I will not be joining the drive because I am coming from the Kingston area but, I hope to see you there. Saw your car at Hershey but, no one was around the Rennlist area...

bump for a nice Saturday drive.

For some who might be on the fence about going to the Lime Rock race, a few of us will do the meet and greet on the Palisades rest stop with Ilko and the group and may do some driving around Bear Mountain / Seven Lakes Drive.

I need to be home my 2:00p so the Lime Rock race may not work for me. Quadcammer will plan out some driving.

Sounds like a plan, fellers -- and the weather Gods are smiling on us as well.
Damn! What a GREAT way to kick off "Spring".

BTW, I'm assuming there's a 'tentative route' -- and the reason you're NOT posting it here, is because of the trollers -- as in Smokey the Bear types -- who, ahem, often get wind of a 'group run' and then place themselves along the route so as to 'discourage' us, monetarily.

No problemo -- assume there'll be 'hand-outs' or somesuch when we're at the meeting point -- OR instructions such as "Just follow the sweet curvy hips of the one in front of you!"

I have my Garmin GPSMAP296, with Lime-rock 'plugged in' --- so I'm good either way.

In keeping with my hate of cars, I've selected the most pot hole riddled, mud filled, gravel roads I can think of. It shall be a control arm bending, bump stop ripping, and filling loosening good time.

First of all, a BIG THANKYOU to Ilko for organizing this!

In case some of you are playing Rennlist catch-up...

Last Saturday a bunch of us met at the usual spot then went for
a rather spirited drive up Bear Mtn., then into CT, to finally end up
at Lime-rock.

So as not to overwhelm, I've split the pix into four webpages:

Meet-up

Walking around Lime-rock
------------------------

Races - vantage point #1
------------------------
http://ifly.freeyellow.com/miscell/viewpoint1/index.htm

Races - vantage point #2
------------------------
http://ifly.freeyellow.com/miscell/viewpoint2/index.htm

Enjoy!

Gerry
