Anyone around SFO w/ Fister Stage II?
Want to give me a ride to compare my Stage IIIs? I find them too noisy but they sort of like moss (going on me). Would like to do a little comparo....

I am near sfo but my car with II are down in socal, sorry . I find it perfect if it was a daily driver, but if it was a weekend/special occasion car , although I've never heard it in person, I'm guessing III would be awesome!

If you ever make it down near Santa Cruz send me off a PM and maybe we can meet up, I rarely if ever will take the 993 to the city.

Special thanks to Nelson (Nels415) for a nice ride in his beautiful c4s, good talk about our cars and chance to compare the IIs to the IIIs. While in his car I thought I'd definitely switch to the IIs. Afterwards I picked up my wife nearby and she said two interesting things: (1) that it's great to have a community like rennlist where we help each other out and (2) that she likes the sound of the IIIs ("now if it was on my car, that'd be a different story...."). Definitely keeping her. Still on the fence about the Fisters.

What's keeping you from switching? I just purchased a 98 C2S and I am strongly considering buying a Fister exhaust but cannot decide on stage II or III. I am very interested in your impressions.

Plenty of threads out there about the difference. More gurgle at idel and much louder throughout the revs with the IIIs. The IIs are significant bump up from stock, but not as mean or angry as the IIIs. The IIIs sound like a hot rod. The IIs have a bit more sophistication.
