If you use the tore kit, worst case you could convert back to stock on the spot. I keep my old bulbs in plastic just in case. No problems yet. MY DDM kit was actually fine as well. Turned out to be a loose wire once I pulled it apart to replace the set with the Torekit.. Crimped wire just fell out where I converted it to the bullet connector.

+1 for the Retrofitsource. I have a kit from them for over 2 years now, no issues. A little on the expensive side, but high quality ballasts and bulbs.

Me too - EFX was the brand I think, still work fine on my DD.
They work far better than the stock setup which worked about as well as two flashlights taped to the fenders...

I liked these so much, I purchased a set for the 'Busa as well - No issues there either.

I had a ballast go bad, and DDM was nice enough to replace it, even though it was out of warranty. I also installed the recommended relay that supplies voltage to the ballasts directly from the battery and have had no issues since.

I am using the T lights. Very happy with them. (I bought a spare bulb when I bought the system which I haven't used).

I've had a kit from Gert in my car for a few years and many nighttime miles, no problem. But as others have said, contact Tore... I wouldn't hesitate to use his kit either.

Can anyone tell me where to get the T-Lights? Do you have bulb recommendations?

Turns out it was not the bulb. It was the component between the bulb and the ballast. I contacted Tores and he sent me a replacement next day no charge.
