Most modified cars are less than the sum of their parts, aren't they?

Always the way!!!

I suspect when the GT2 body work was done they just put different offset wheels on to fill the fenders rather than moving the suspension points out as should be done.

A little pre planning for any modifications sure does go along way, of course then execution needs to follow

On the subject of track videos...

This one is an epic battle during a PCA race a few years ago between two exceptional drivers (and both great guys), Tim MacKenzie in a 914/6, and Mark White in an old 911. (It's not 993s, but hey, our 911s are getting old too.)

A great lesson in how it's done. If you have half an hour, in other words -- you're at work -- it's worth it:

Sadly Tim lost a battle with cancer last year.
