If those are your two choices, I would go with black, although I would prefer something lighter. I would go with a graphite or steel grey.

I personally dig both choices Ryan. Stick with the polished lip portion...definately. Big fan of graphite, dark grey, etc. Dark GT-2 center color, also reference Nurburger's beautiful 993TT with Speedline RS wheels for refernce. Rudy(Opo) has done multiple stock wheelsets with the polished lip, he could readily provide you with some paint codes.

Good luck, and looking forward to seeing you this summer in Narragansett.

Don't forget the HID upgrades too!

I am so glad you are doing this first, it will make my decision much easier!!!!I too, have been thinking about a different wheel color for a set of twists and I am thinking a graphite/ gun metal color. I think that would look great against the arena red. I am not quite sold on black wheels, for some reason they always look dirty to me, but the picture you showed with the polished lip does look sweet. Seeing that my c4s is also arena red I will be loking forward to your decision. You having Mike paint the wheels as well?

Joe, beers in Gansett, mmmmm, is it summer yet??

I prefer the arena red wheels but graphite would be even better since I'm not a fan of black wheels.

I can't find an image of graphite colored 996 turbo twist wheel anywhere! If anyone has a pic that they are willing to share that would be great!

Chris & Joe,
Beers in gansett sound great right now! Can't wait until summer finally arrives!

I will post pics once the wheels have been painted.

Cheers,
Ryan

Not a fan of black or body color wheels. If the other choice is graphite, then that is my vote. I like my "hyper-silver" color on my wheels-not too dark, not too light, with lots of depth.

Black or graphite would have been cool before it started showing up on minivans on the school pickup run....
My vote is for the Arena Red

Ill second the "steel grey" over the black, or graphite would be cool.

Black would most certainly hide brake dust between washings. Do the red if your grille is color matched, if its black do the black centers.

Prior owner of my brother's C4S use to run the 996 Turbo wheels in graphite, I believe these are factory S wheels too.

My vote is for the graphite too!

the color of the 996 TTS wheels is GT Silver, just slightly darker than Hyper Silver. I don't think it's dark enough, especially with the AR.
