Default Painted my hollow Techs

Hi All, I guess the addiction has took hold. It started with Fister III, then Bilsteins and M033s.

I went with Michelin Super Sports.

I just installed the front splitters from the Aero Kit 1, and I am considering the rear wing too. It will give me a reason to lose the basket handle.

Now, on the interior, I am considering having the seat belt webbing changed to red for a nice contrast. I realize this is a factory option today, but has anyone actually done this on a 993? I found many companies that sell the red seat belt "fabric". I also realize that it would require a skilled person to properly sew it ( like a sail maker, or canvas worker).

Any ideas on the belts?

Thank you

Rich

Red belts is a factory option. Around $400 for a front set from Sunset Porsche in Oregon.

I bought my red belts from Carnewal, but there are a couple posts on here of people having the seatbelts made into different colors. I cant remember the persons username, just his avatar pic. If you search, something will pop up.

Looks like Rich has taken the plunge down the slippery slope and is accelerating! Either red or black belts would work well. +1 on Sunset Imports Porsche in Beaverton, Oregon. I like dealing with Andraya there as she'll set you up with what you'll need.

Hey Ilko, those are your wheels and caps!!!! My employee dropping them about 20 minutes after I paid you forced the decision. They were real nice when I bought them from you, but my employee who was trying to help me dropped 1, then the next week, did it again!! I was able to touch them up, but it just bothered me that the brand new paint was damaged.

Thinking of Hershey for sure.

Thanks for the kind words and the advice for the seat belts. I do like the grey/red color combo. I used it in the past and it just looks good to me.

Soon to come, rear aero kit 1b spoiler and I lose the basket handle!!!

Thank you

Rich

looks so right with white on white. May as well go whole hog and have the headlight spreyer removed and painted with the basket handle removal. Let the devil temp you to remove the bumperettes also or I mean devil in the detail or both

Anyroute, Perfect looking car

Hi Rich,

Where did you source the front splitters from? Your car looks great!

The front splitters are Aero kit 1 factory Porsche. Expensive. There is a company called RS Roadrace who has a few pairs left. There is a company on ebay that sells fiberglass repop versions for much less, but I can't vouch for fit or quality.

Rear wing for that aerokit 1A is not the prettiest IMO...
