That”s awesome! I can’t imagine what a race car is like. I wonder if the sound and fury are overwhelming. Or if the helmet and earplugs muffle things enough to allow the other senses to feel in control. This is a subject for another thread though.
Ear plugs were good to have, not as much for the car I was driving but for the cars in front or around you. Rear engine cars are not nearly as bad in the cabin as other front engine cars I have driven. Here is a video from 17 years ago at Rennsport Reunion at Dayton Speedway. If nothing else it shows you how much videos have improved.
