Default 96 C2 Sunroof delete Coupe Polar Silver on Ebay.

Almost 70k miles and almost that in $$.

Lot of vagaries in relation to oil leaks and vehicle history. 'No known' always makes me shudder as pretty soon you have Rumsfeld lecturing you on unknown unknowns vs known unknowns.

Same place has a 23k mile C2 for $10k less.

I think this car was covered in another post. Yes, that sunroof delete makes it pretty pricey. Yes sir...

Sunroof delete is nice, but I'm not sure it adds $20K+ in a selling price to this otherwise unremarkable car.

Seller is, how shall I say this, optimistic with his pricing

A couple years ago this didn't mean jack sh-t from a pricing stand point
When 993s were easier to buy in bunches, some dealers didn't even want sunroof delete cars because they were harder to sell.

+1

In my opinion a sunroof delete car should add 6-8K max to any 993

I wonder how much the dealer would charge to put a sunroof in it?

think I'll email him and ask

Sunroof Delete?? Who cares....now, living in AZ it is hot and having had a cab was nice for about 10 minutes...at my age, getting cooked in the sun was getting old...(did like the top down feel)...so, I looked for a coupe and a sunroof was needed to get the mini top down feel without the x-rays...although rare, do you really think the small sunroofs in 993's contribute a major amount of body flex different from sunroof delete???
I see it as a negative to majority of buyers.....unless of course one is a rare-a-file....

The pricing is absurd and I agree that the non sunroof car might be rare but who really cares! Other than the seller.

I chuckle when the seller says only 3 NB 993 coupes were sunroof delete. I have a friend who has one (saw it last week), I sold one a few years back + this one, does that mean I am incredibly lucky and have seen every sunroof delete 993 built? Don't think so...

I would agree its rare, 1 of 3, not a chance. I would pay more for a non-sunroof but that car while it appears nice and honest it's otherwise just another 70k mile nice quality NB 993 C2 manual coupe. I think it's a $44-48k car.
