For posterity:
1995 Porsche 911 993 sunroof coupe, 6-Speed, 70,298 low miles, Black with Gray interior (comfort seat option 437, cruise control 454, sunroof 650). New stereo CD with massive amplifier in the front boot, tool kit, car cover. Only a few small stone chips on the nose and one very small ding in the passenger door (no paint damage). This car has two correct sets of 16" wheels available, powder coated black with new tires (245/45-16 rear on 16x9), 205/55-16 front on 16x7), and factory Silver (with some scuffs) tires on these have perhaps 10% tread remaining. Runs excellent, sounds excellent (has motor sound air box upgrade), runs cool, dry, no smoke. Just completed new lower valve cover gaskets as well as new fan/alt/ac belts, no needs. Clean and clear MA title. www.vehinet.com email for more information. Porsche Ferrari Lotus BMW trades considered, no projects.

I agree a pretty average car with a typical price - and 16" targa wheels on a coupe are not overly desireable. might be a fine car but nothing special...

Autotrader: 8 available; average price $50,000 (excluding one at 100k+ miles)
Cars.com: 5 available; average price $50,600.
And while I realize there are several other sources besides these two websites, I do believe they are representative of the current market for OBD1 cars.
It's a whole new [air cooled] world out there

Asking prices and what the cars are actually being sold for are two completely different things. There are quite a few people out there who would put their plain Jane NB car for sale if they thought they'd get $50K for it.

I understand guys coming and going based on personal circumstances. But this chasing the almighty buck is getting beyond boring. But then I'm a buy and hold kinda guy.

Well, hell-my car must've gone up in value based on the asking price of this one and the others noted below. With 77K, its condition, and a lot of new goodies, I'd put it up against the CL car any day.
Wicked good deal for my wife if I kick the bucket and she sells it.

That's what I thought initially. However a cursory check on Autotrader and Cars.com revealed the following for MY 95 6 speed coupes.
Autotrader: 8 available; average price $50,000 (excluding one at 100k+ miles)
Cars.com: 5 available; average price $50,600.

I just sold two 95 c2's one with a leaking steering rack and 99,000 miles -- body ok -- interior mint for $35k.
Another with 101,000 miles looked new but of course it needed shocks, bushings etc for $40,000.
Real prices -- ignorant buyers.

Not sure how many "people out there" would put up their NB car for mid 30's in today's market...since that's the metric here. I would be willing to bet this car doesn't last 48 hrs...a sign that it's a wicked good deal...in my book
