Default Oxygen sensor for a 95

so it looks like I need a new Oxygen sensor for my 95. From searching it looks like there is only one sensor and it is a Bosch 0 258 986 505 part #. Just want to confirm this is correct and I think I can buy it from any auto parts store? Can anyone confirm this? thanks.

I bought a generic one from an auto parts store with the same specs as the Bosch unit. It's been working fine for about 50,000 miles.

That Bosch 0 258 986 505 shows universal in my parts catalogs, it looks like part #993 606 126 01 is the correct one and it's not universal so I assume no wire splicing.
I can get you a price for 99360612601 if you're interested.

996scott, I added it to the website here, use the RENNLIST code to get 10% off.
It ships free in the US.

FYI, the one from Amazon is NOT the correct one, it is too short by about 10 inches.

The correct Bosch part number is 0 258 003 369.

Source: Bosch cross reference manual.

It is also what is stamped on the original oxygen sensor on my 1995 993.

Other Bosch numbers for the same part are 13369 and LS 3369.

That's the correct Bosch part number which cross references over to Porsche part # 993 606 126 01.

I went from that number to the Bosch part number. It gives you the chance to check availability under two numbers.

Fit like a charm. Thanks Alex The dealer wanted $400+ for parts and labor to change 1 oxygen sensor, what a scam! It took me less than 30 minutes and that was going slow.
