slate grey C2S for sale

Now I'm wondering what GYMGUY's old RB C2S would sell for in this market. I'm not a big slate grey fan, so a RB C2S would be even more astronomical in my mind.
Rudy, sorry to hear you couldn't get it. Bummer.

I just picked up a 2S for a quarter of the price, albeit with 160kmiles on the clock and not as rare/clean cosmetically but at least I can drive it.... hmmm, would I take FOUR 2S that I could drive around or ONE that I wouldn't drive around :P

The slate grey car will be hermetically sealed and likely not accumulate many more miles. Welcome to the collector world.

Expect to see a lot more of this. I'm not saying I like it but as prices rise you'll see a lot more people in it just for the money. Thats just the way it is. Not every Porsche owner is a true Enthusiast, for some it's just a piece of metal and if they can make a quick buck in flipping a car they will do so without thinking twice.

Same money as an 8000 mile 991 C2S....
The opportunity to buy something old and desireable that is as close as you will get to new is worth the premium.
I could not imagine parking one of these for only 8000 miles of use to date. They drive too nice to park in collection. Given that it is not the RS or GT2, im surprised it was parked for so long.
I guess being the last of the air cooled really got collectors thinking in the late 90's...
