8127 miles, how could you resist not driving it more? I agree on the colour looks amazing.

There isn't the slightest hint of any oil leaks in the pictures of the underside of the car.

Loctite 574 (the case and cam housing sealant) basically never leaks. The chain and valve covers have rubber seals -- which leak when they become hard through heat cycling, not by being "dry."

Some please explain what exactly a "dry seal" is. We're not talking about a car that's been sitting for 25 years here.

This car sounds familiar from a long discussed saga that was brought up here on RL....a pretty well known thread. Could be the same car, but not entirely sure....how many 8k miles slate grey C2S do we all know?

Nope. Just one that's been sitting for about 17 years

Still, a nice car that, knowing Canepa, will be priced to sit

Canepa does seem to overprice his cars but it seems like they always sell. I live near buy and everytime I go there the inventory is changing.

Wow. That is definitely above the curve. Unfortunately the new owner is more likely to park it in a collection rather than drive it.

Funny on that pricing... friend of a friend said his selling price on a 9k mile C4s was $100k... thought he was crazy, but a I guess not.
