Default Is "Up-Fixin der Porsche" a useful reference?

PCA is selling Volumes 10 & 11 of "Up-Fixing der Porsche" for $14.99. Apparently this covers the period 1993-1998.
Would those who own these volumes recommend them as a source of useful technical info for 993 owners?

Are they current up to date publications or the twelve year old ones I bought when I got my car in 2002? I found the books useless back then.

Years ago for the cost of shipping they gave away all the hard copies in their possession starting with the first volume.

They are interesting from a historical perspective but technical-wise there is nothing contained within that hasn't been better documented online and more specifically here.

Mike - I believe they are new reprints.

Jason - Thank you for the assessment.

In answer to OP SkiDan original question: in a word "no."

Nice for historical reference, very light on actual useful technical information.

Note: Have a complete set, including index and vol. 1 through 11.
