One other to do... Drive the public roads that comprise a major portion of the course. Fun to drive past all the landmarks. Like the line of trees that are at the start of the Mulsanne straight

(I wrote this a few years back in a similar thread - hope it's still useful).

From inside the circuit, there's not much spectator access to the "back" of the circuit (ie: from Tertre Rouge down the Mulsanne straight to the Mulsanne corner). You can drive around the outside of the circuit and eat Chinese food halfway down the Mulsanne, but it's a tough journey as many of the roads are closed.

As a result, there can be some tendency to get confined to the main spectator area (ie: from Porsche Curves to Tertre Rouge). The Ford chicane is slow and fun to watch and the corners before/after the Dunlop Bridge are fast and challenging BUT don't get confined - find the shuttle bus service down to the stretch from Mulsanne corner to Arnage.

Since they've shaved the hump on the Mulsanne straight, it's somewhat less dramatic on the approach to Mulsanne corner, but still worth seeing. But the biggest plusses of making this journey are; a) with the installation of the chicanes on the Mulsanne straight, it's now the stretch between the Mulsanne corner and Indianapolis which sees the highest maximum speeds, so you want to say you've seen the fastest stretch on the track and b) Indianapolis and the ultra-fast right turn which precede it are are "must sees."

Walk it if you can't find the shuttles - it's a schlep but worth it to see what I consider to be the most interesting part of the circuit.

Regards to all.
