Default Dimensions of Tequipment Big Oval exhaust tips

Does anybody have the dimensions of BO's available?

Even if someone can go to their car and measure the following that'd be so awesome!

1) edge to edge on the tip/opening ...at widest)
2) edge to edge on the tip/opening ...at most narrow
3) length ...longest side
4) length ...shortest side

I've got some OEM NB wide ovals sitting in a box waiting to be installed on my car. I'll see what I can do for you.

Thanks for offering to help Spyder_Man! Hoping the numbered list makes sense . Also you're a fortunate guy to own them!

Yes..though are they not the same size bar the extra pipeage to create an offset? So the tip size remains the same regardless of NB or WB?
All 4 measurements in the OP are for the tip (which fills the bumper cut out) only.

Pirahna might be able to measure them more quickly than I will since the box holding my tips is in the boot of my car, which is at the mechanic's shop currently. I think I understand the measurement requests that you have f1ava. Rephrased, you're looking for:

Measurement of the long side of the tip, front to rear.
Measurement of the short side of the tip, front to rear.
Measurement of both length and width of the opening of the tip.

Are you thinking of fabricating some reproductions?

Spot on with what I am seeking.

As for reproductions, if only I had the ability. No, there was a recent thread (https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...aust-tips.html) made me think about aftermarket vs Big Ovals.

According to several threads, genuine Big Ovals were stamped:

EP 5110 = NB
EP 6110 = Turbo
EP 7110 = WB

See:

https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...aust-tips.html

https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...big-ovals.html

https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...big-ovals.html

https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...ust-tip-2.html

Post #14 and #15 are interesting from the last link because --- I quote below---

I just measured my standard tips and they seem to be ~105mm wide x ~65mm high. It doesn't seem as if the new ones would fill out the exhaust gap any more than my existing ones. Would someone mind measuring their 'large ovals'?

Here is a comparison between my tip and Rezal's tip:

So Gert sells genuine Big Oval tips at 105mm:

However they cannot be 105mm if the size of the standard tip is anything to go by.

Hence the request for measurements

Thank you for confirming. Did you measure yours?

If 105mm is correct for Big Ovals (still doesn't sound right - hence a real measurement would be really helpful)... then regarding your comment here:

...by 'a mm or 2' did you mean 15mm?!

Type911shop lists them as 120mm.

The actual measured outside dimensions of the opening of my OEM Big Ovals are 122mm x 90mm. The width dimension (122mm) is across the diagonal cut opening so parallel to the bumper line.

Exactly, the width, as Gerts site is 105mm, this is 122mm because of the slant cut

Okay thanks, cmat & 911PERVY , this is becoming clearer..

So are you implying:

105mm = square internal width, closest to exhaust clamp
120mm = external slash cut with, closest to tip opening

Or are you implying the tips in your photo quoted above are of different size to BO?
