Default Beautiful Pacific Northwest day by the water (pic)

Well, I don't want to toot our horn too much up here, but it doesn't get much better in the Seattle area than a great sunny day with an old lighthouse (Mukilteo), one of our great ferries coming into dock and of course the 993 in the foreground. What a great day to be alive

If everything goes according to plan, my wife and I will move our family there within the four to ten months. I cannot wait to return to the PNW!

Man, I grew up in Everett. I miss that place so much. I used to take those ferries just for the trip across the water, the crew would wonder why I didn't get off on the other side. Check or Langley on Whidbey Island. It's a great little town and a cool drive.

Awesome pic! For my money, there aren't many places prettier than a clear day in the greater SEATAC area.

I have to agree. Moved out there (Des Moines WA) when I was in my early twenties. Right off Puget Sound. Had no idea how good I had it. Still sort of regretting moving back to WI, except for the fact that I met my wife and I've built a good life here in the burbs.

Nice picture! Definitely love visiting WA state. I live across the water in Victoria (Vancouver Island) and enjoy taking the ferry to Port Angeles then driving down to Seattle along the peninsula. Great ferry system.

I went to visit my wife's family in March in Lynnwood and ran into a friendly VW GTi owner on the ferry who was just returning from an annual euro drive/meet in Port Townsend. Would love to attend next year.
