Asofine,

Thanks for sharing. BTW, like your toy collection. Tell me, your center console is in carbon on your C4S? Can you post a pic of it? I've never seen one before.

I have a set of B&B WB sitting around....u r welcome to have it.....just pick them up...I am in Arcadia.
If you don't like them , u can always send them to FD to have it convert to stage 2 or 3.

I've heard RSRs(I have a set but don't use them) and Fister 1 and 2, The F1 sounds great w/ a cat in place, the F2 I was surprised that the car wasn't black flagged, but he wasn't

I use stock mufflers w/ tt innards and a cat by pass, A little louder than the F1s but quieter than the F2 or RSR.

The RSR muffler are still available, I just don't have any cores to do core exchange. So for those that can live without their muffler for several weeks I still make them. A lot of people didn't return their core muffler, so that's how I ended up not being able to provide core exchanges. I never pushed to sell the mufflers, it was something that I made as a hobby. Fister does this for a living, so it really never bothered me who's muffler people bought. At the end of the day as long as you are happy is what counts.

The Motorsound air box cover comes with a bit of engine compartment "bling" in a polished metal intake lip and is about $150.00 if you don't want to or have a drill press to drill out the holes. I found the Fister StageIIIs weren't much louder than the II's so I went with III's with no regret.

My first post on this forum, but passing spare times on rennlist for couple of years. Finally got my black on black 6sp 993 coupe a month ago, and soooooo happy!

Next week my original exhausts will get the LPMM mod probably with a 1,5" by-pass. I was not sure if I should get a 2" or a 1.5" bypass. Any advise on experience ? Don't want to be too loud near the house.

And just by adding the external bypass, how does it compare with the Fister stage II ?

Thanks!

How does B&B stack rank against the Fisters ? Anyone in NNJ with Fisters on their 993 who might be willing to do a drive by?

I suppose I should just email, but does anyone know if the FDM/Leistung Sport Cat is still available? I don't see it on the website.

one more vote for Fister cans. i'm running Fabspeed 200 cell cats and Fister IIIs - the car sounds flat out mean!! barks at start up, but i can easily get out of the neighborhood without offending anyone. great sound, but not for everyone.

this is Fister's own video for his 200 cell cats and Fister IIIs. my car sounds quite similar, but a tad mellower.

i have FDM stage III and i really like them. i had the stage II s for a couple months but they werent loud enough. even the stage III i wish were louder now after having them a while. ive considered switching them out for supercups. the nice thing about the fisters is there is no drone when cruising.. the supercups seem to have some drone to them.

i could always add a bypass pipe or sport cats to my stage III's, but that opens up a can of worms i dont want to deal with (CEL, exhaust valve wear iirc, etc.)

I have the FD III's on the C2S and love them. Great sound, especially on Lower Wacker or any tunnel, and no drone at highway speeds. On the C2, which is a track only car, I have Cargraphics CAT bypass pipes and Fabspeed Sportcup exhaust - it is loud. You would not want to do this on a street car.

I have a home drilled motor sound air box, Dansk split flow 100 cell cats, and RSR mufflers. Benefits: lose 40 lbs in the rear, have 4 people compliment the sound of my car on the last Porsche drive (including a guy that has cup car setups), grin like an idiot every time you drive...

Problems: cats are expensive and I get a lot of dust on my radio now

As far as I know they are still available if you inquire, I don't think they've ever been on the website itself.
