Not my 993 but I'm passing it on to raise awareness:
Please contact https://www.facebook.com/anette.guld...beals?fref=ufi if anyone see's it or hears any leads about it. Thanks
This Ruf porsche was stolen out of the Corona Seventh-day Adventist Church parking lot, 2550 So. Main Street in Corona, between 11am and 12:30 pm. License no. TERBO R. If you see it or hear of someone trying to sell it, please let us know. Thanks!

Jay-- Nice of you to aid a friend.
If you haven't already considered it, starting a similar thread on the 993 Turbo Forum might target another enthusiast audience -- everything helps.

Very sad. Hard to believe it could be stolen from the church parking lot and nobody heard anything.

Wow. That would be a tough discovery after church.
Good luck to the owner. I recently sold mine, so if your friend needs a sale data point for insurance purposes, please PM me.

Seems like the LA 993 ring has moved a bit inland .... weren't a couple stolen in the last 8 months or so in Westwood or west LA? Scarry that these ******** are targeting 993's. Time to place a GPS in our cars.

I vote we all chip in to buy this "clone;" drive it through all the hot spots where these 993's were stolen and then park/stake it out. I bet the seller of this clone, once we tell him what our intentions are, will cut a good deal. Hell, he may even volunteer it for the cause.

Anyone familiar with the best GPS devices that could be hidden on a 911?

What I forgot to mention is that the mindset (for criminals) in this state will degrade immensely and these things will occur more often and more blatantly. The sheep just voted to deem alot of felonies as misdemeanors. The signal being sent is, don't worry about your actions, there's no consequence. Just had a gunstore owner show me a video of a guy that walked (ran) out the door after a display gun was handed to him. What this guy would get if caught, is a citation/notice to appear. Stunning and very sad.

Too many 993s beig stolen from West LA, Westwood, Marina Del Rey and Beach Cities! Also any air cooled 911s are targets now. It shouldn't be too hard to see a white Ruf Turbo R- then again, I'm sure they are pros who got it- not joyriders

Unfortunately, like the others that have been stolen, I strongly believe they are in a container on a boat or truck enroute somewhere. We have the same thing up here but on a lesser scale. People put out orders of parts or cars they need, bangers go out and steal them, then take them to unscrupulous wreckers/chop shops and sell them for nothing. Up here it's Hondas, Camrys, GM PKs.
