Droving? So you're herding a multitude of 993's through the rain?
Can't say I've ever droved anything. Sounds difficult, especially with a group of cars all with a mind of their own.
I think the OBD-I cars are easier to control - they're much simpler. The OBD-II cars can really get out of hand and are hard to corral.
You need a special breed of Border Collie to herd Porsches through the rain.

Beet derived sugar is much sturdier and stiffer than any other, including that inferior corn sourced syrupy cr@p that's in almost every food item here in the US.
Having said that, if you observed any melting on your car in the rain, you may be in possession of a counterfeit 993. Not so unusual anymore since the recent steady rise in values for our cars.
You should have some scrap parts analyzed to see what type of sugar your car is actually made of. If it's beets, you're safe. Corn? US made fake. Not sure what China uses these days. Maple syrup may be a possibility based on your location. I would guess that would fall somewhere in between beets and corn...

Droving in the rain- this would imply that you can, in present- time do something that you have already done (Drove- past tense) , so if the question is can you time travel in your 993, well the answer is obvious. Every time you get in the 993, you're stepping back in time at least 17 years to a greater time in car history- so yes, you can Drove in the rain!

Look up some of the famous Ghetto Racer threads on the racing board. He used to drive students' cars and ended up wrecking one of them. He posted a photo of himself grinning like a moron and slapped a thumbs up sign while posing next to the wrecked car. He accidentally typed drove when he meant to type drive in reference to driving other peoples cars, and a Rennist legend was born out of the spread legs of idiocy.
