Love that color combination!
80k miles, aftermarket radio, ratty shift ****; otherwise looks nice from the pictures. But sheesh, almost $50k...I hope they get it.

Not to hijack the OP, but since we seem to be on the subject of selling/buying 993's...
Just had an offer for my '95 C2 coupe from a guy in Holland, spoke on the phone for quite awhile, seems like a good guy, gave me all his coordinates, etc. Says he's sending a deposit via Western Union on Monday...remainder to the bank of my choice prior to transport showing up at my door.
Anyone had any experience with this kind of transaction?

I would Google 'western union scams' and see if there is any way to get screwed. Some scams are pretty sophisticated and non obvious. But as long as you have the actual cash in full before shipping it's probably fine

I was thinking the same thing. High $30's...maybe low $40's. Certainly seems worth that if its a clean car, clean title, known history. I guess good news if this car is selling above $45k.

I think $42-$45k is a ok price , like JDHertz11 says , they are getting hard to find and this is a very rare color 993 , I would pay up to $45k if the car checks out .

This particular piece of the buying/pricing equation is not one that I have ever had to deal with...and it is easily overlooked. While the "normal" or "market" value may appear to be $xx,xxx...the availability is definitely gonna impact that number dramatically. And if it's a nice example, it's gonna really raise the price. This is, of course my opinion.

I know I sound like a salesman but I really don't see the air cooled market slowing down for the foreseeable future. We are fortunate to have appreciated these cars long before they were deemed collectible. I really think we'll see cars like these as bargains in the not so distant future.
