Congratulations! I've been looking for one myself, hard to find with low miles.

Congrats! Beautiful 124! They are great car with superior build quality, last of the real Mercedes, IMO

there's just something so cool about a bad *** wagon. "yes, i can take you grocery shopping, but i can also smoke that kid in the mustang."

love the silver over red - so 'silver arrows'. this should have been a production offering. considering what went into the build, the price is reasonable. you just have to want a 'built' car.

I had a 1987 300TD that I bought with 12,000 miles. It was a fabulous driving car with 22mpg and great utility, especially with the rear facing third seat. Around the 100k mark it became expensive. The window controllers, the ignition switch, heat/ac controller and some other stuff I've forgotten about. I know we spent over 4 grand in one year on electrical issues. I much prefer the Audi A6 Avant as a driver. It has better economy, a better stance with 245/50 17's all around. Zero problems in 155,000 miles. The upper timing chains and tensioners are being replaced though, and that will not be cheap. It should go many miles after that.

Who needs SUV's when there's nice wagons to be had. With all these so called "crossovers" it seems like people are trending back toward wagons.

MPruden, Nice. That wagon looks great!, so clean. Nice score on those 17" AMGs, too. How many miles?

Big fan of the w124.

Man, there are some good looking 124s on this board, and you're not messing around with that cab. Amazing.

My wagon has 173k miles - just now getting broken in :-)
