Burning Brakes
Looking at the street view of that corner it appears there is a steel road barrier. Did he actually go through that?
Nevertheless so sad - RIP Vince!

Also makes you realize just how fortunate Steve was in RUFUS.

very sad! we all get so much fun and satisfaction from these cars. no one should ever be hurt with one. Condolences to his family. I hope this reminds us all to be careful and enjoy every day. life is too short!!!

I talked with Vince at the New Years meet in SJ, and he was a such a nice guy. It is sobering to think that this happened to a very young man with a great future waiting. Brings back memories of Chuck, too. So sorry Vince.

Three Wheelin'
Sadly I never met him although I did take two photos of his car at Porsche Parade 2014 in Monterrey. The wheels and color combo caught my attention!
As the host of 993FEST it does give me pause when driving these cars in a group that there is always risk, be it mechanical failure, act of God or simple driver error. I think this is a reminder to all of us that life is fragile and can change in an instant. Our 993 Community just become a little bit poorer for the loss of a passionate and enthusiastic young man who truly loved the 993. My condolences to his family, simply terrible! God Bless!

One thing I did notice when I saw Vincent's car at the most recent Pelican meet in Palos Verdes now that it strikes me after you had posted the above pictures are the 1st Gen Michelin Pilot Sport Tires...I remember when I saw them I told another member on here who was with me, I went "Oh Wowzers OG Pilot's"
