That's pretty cool. Be sure and save it to your pictures as they update them every few years.

I passed by the google street car in September and I knew it would be posted at some point. I checked this morning and there it was (slow day with the snow and all!).
The pictures don't go away. Google keeps them. If you do street view of your house (or whatever), there's a date that is displayed on the upper left corner. If you click the date, you can go back in time and see the different shots google took over the years.
