I'm in Westlake Village and I've seen about 3 in the year I've been here. Definitely a very rare occasion seeing another 993. This is one reason i like the car so much.

In the garage appreciating?

We have quite a few here in Vancouver, and even then, it's rare to see one randomly on the road.

I've been in the UK for a week now and have yet to see a 993. Must be a global conspiracy.

23,250 US 993s / 234,000,000 vehicles on the road in the US = 0.0000993 chance of seeing one at any one moment in time. So how many moments do you have each day? YMMV.

Rare indeed. I see 2 (the same two) every morning I go out to the mailbox.

Three or four a week randomly spotted here running around the East Bay. Basically, who wants to drive them around town anymore? There's such a difference between driving any "early" (air cooled) 911 around town, versus what we all have for disposable pedestrian runabouts now why bother?

(On Saturday was in a silver 991 Turbo S sandwich while driving wife's BMW at a jogging pace along Marin Co. Hwy 1 to show vacationing family touristy things. So the new cars are out there serving as low speed transport.)

I spent 4 months in amsterdam last year, and saw over a dozen of 993s (wasn't my imagination from inhaling second hand smoke for the coffee shops). First, weekend there I saw 3. Also quite a few at the Ring.

In North East, I see 993 only on local drives and C&C, too. I see Lambos and Ferraris more often and 997/991daily.

Maybe you see me! I'm in TO. I have noticed quite a few 944's on the road this summer and about 8-10 911's from 1980's to 1998.

Specifically 993's. Maybe one or two.

I saw two on the way into work this morning. I would say I see a 993 out driving at least 3-4 times a week. Not unusual at all around here. It is much more fun to see the occasional 959 or Ferrari GTO on a test drive from Canepa though.

All joking aside, I believe the market dynamics have impacted the number of 993s we see in the wild. Over the last yr + when I talk to 993 owners on various meets (e.g. C&C, etc.) I often hear the statement: "I try not to drive it much to keep the miles low and preserve resale value..." I never subscribe to that thinking, but many ppl seem to do

I DO see you sometimes!! But I'm never in the 4S...Except for that one time we passed and waved at each other on Dupont in the Junction a few summers ago!

There are a few cars by my office at Summerhill/Yonge that I see often. Unfortunately, none of the owners are online! Bummer, I want the #Toronto993Gruppe to grow!
