My pass seat was driving me nuts on a 200 mile roundrip yesterday (well, it's a former 996/986 Sport driver's seat from English Boxster). That was covering up the window squeak some, but they scream at different frequencies
I do believe that I know why y seat is making noise, I just need time for a better look. There's a spring that runs along the seat that, I think, might be disconnected.

Nile13, just had a thought that the graphite spray might not be clear. Checked the specs on it and sure enough they say it's not clear. So don't think that would be a good choice. The 3M silicon lube is clear. -bruce7

I'm curious why there's no commonly available dry silicone lube, besides 3M. And even Grainger is not carrying this 3M. That's just odd. I've usually used Parteeze (mold release spray from Kano Labs) on my convertible and sunroof seals. It pops up teh rubber seals and makes them softer and fatter, but it doesn't seem to do the trick in this case.
