Default Cheap C2S

Not sure what the damage was when it was repaired but for $58,000 USD, it might be worth a look…

I passed on this car when the previous owner had it for sale for $44K Cdn 2 years ago. It's rough and the engine leaked profusely after my test drive.

I was chatting with a guy who was looking at it. He said it has a salvage title. Pics look decent though!

If a salvage title car is selling for $58k USD, then that makes some of the recent C2S/C4S car sales look like bargains!

That was the silver C2S at Pfaff in Toronto right? The dealer's description was very clear about "as is" and "needs work" You know if a dealer is listing that way that the car will need time and money invested.

Garth S's blue 96 C4S is still available in Nova Scotia for about the same price. It's been on Ebay and Autotrader.ca lately. I have the transmission from his parts car and he is a great seller.

Lots of 993 for sale in Canada as owners try to cash in.

I looked at Garth's car about a year ago when it was selling for $20,000 less. The blue color was compelling but the salvage title was a deterrent, and Garth got torched here on RL for purportedly not fulling disclosing this. Garth has been a solid contributor here on RL and I expect his car has been well maintained by his own wrench.
