It's mind numbing the NB 993s have to move the rocker panel... But that's crazy.
What is ridiculous is the oil at $21 a quart $$$$$$ This version is not available in the states.

I did not like doing them on my 993 but after watching him do the oil change yesterday on this thing, well.....I am paying for it! Once a year is worth it to me as this it is not driven a lot and it was a PIA!!!

Uh, yeah it is. I buy it all the time to feed into my BMW M5. It's $12/quart at any NAPA.

Well, I know where your old deck lid is Larpy!

Nice to see you back on RL - used to enjoy watching your projects. I now own Brian's arena red tt seen in one of your garage pics on the other thread.

Enjoy the Lamborghini!

That is a good find! It is included in the oil change so I have not researched it much. Found it on Amazon for $21. Thanks for the link!

OK, that pic almost made me spit up my drink ....wow! And a big, huge LOL!!!

Love my 993 for these many years and miles, but I have to echo that the oil change on this car is stupid. Having to pull the wheel and moving the rocker for the big filter is stupid; the shenanegans for the little filter is stupid squared! My SC Trackmeister: smart!

Lots to love about our 993s, but I won't make excuses for stupid. And "at least it's not as bad as..." is a poor excuse for poor filter placement.

I recall when Larpy sold his Cab and I later kicked myself for not trying to buy it. He did an amazing job on the undercarriage. BOL with the Lambo - and with the "new" you. Hope you three get your 883 soon.

Do you have the last 4 of your VIN? I would love to find out if my car was yours!! That would make for a great story!

Hey Larpy

Thanks for sharing the story. It's a nice read combined with the perspective of an enthusiast.

Best to you.

I changed the wheels and it made a big difference in the appearance! Same style wheel but different color.<br/>
