Default Beware: White 993 C2S in Montreal

Buddy was about to pull the trigger on a white/black 993 C2S in Montreal posted on PCA. I vetted the seller ("Shervin") who swore the car was perfect, no accidents, clean carfax etc. etc. He pushed real hard for a certain shop to do the PPI; naturally I instructed my friend NOT to use that shop. Inspection turned up major structural damage, re-paint, etc. When "Shervin" was confronted with his lies, he doubled down by claiming a clean title (not salvage) was what he originally stated. I hope no one here is friendly with this scumbag.

This thread has served it's initial purpose

I emailed him via PCA, he didn't say anything about an accident but I got the VIN from a options sticker photo that I requested and I ran a CarFax. I asked about the accident and he was forthcoming THEN, but he clearly should have put this in his ad in the first place. The ad said collector grade so he is obviously sketchy. CarFax showed new owner in September so I guess he just purchased the car.

And now it is actually listed here in the RL Classifieds section as well, of course still no mention of the accident

So what shop was he "pushing real hard" for the PPI to be done? And where did he take the car for the PPI?

Why should I deal with a seller like this? What are the other supersizes?

The Porsche was PPI'd at We Tune in Montreal. They disclosed the damage, re-paint, etc. I can't recall the seller's recommended shop offhand.

If you post the VIN here, anyone who googles that car will find this thread.

Report the listing as Fraudulent to Fleabay. I hate scumbags who misrepresent their car(s) when they know of the issues.
