Default NB 993 Carrera in Arctic Silver?

Hi all!

Are there any narrow body carrera coupés in arctic silver? most, if not all NB carreras seem to be polar silver!
Did the change from polar to arctic silver as "standard" silver colour for 993:s take place (almost) before the last NB 993 coupé was built?

Would really like to own a NB arctic silver 993 NB coupé!

M.Y. 1995 were all polar silver, M.Y 1996-97 were Artic silver. Polar silver remained a "paint to sample" option and does so to this day.

I believe you are off by one year. MY95-96 were Polar Silver and MY97-98 were Artic Silver. Hence unless it was a PTS, only MY97 was available in NB for AS as there were no MY98 NB Coupes.

Thank You, but I live in Sweden, Europe so if that car is in North America it's too far away!

That is true in North America. I wonder if that is the case in Europe because they seem to be ahead by a year, if you get what I mean.

Why do you prefer Arctic vs polar? Polar is truly one of the nicest silvers they made imho

In my opinion Polar Silver on the 993 is a very special color, it looks light blue in the evening, amazing !!
Artic Silver is very common... It seems like the dull Mercedes silver color...
In comparison Polar silver is more like Ferrari 360 Modena Grigio Alloy !! Slightly less blue... Nicer !!

I've had both; when I first owned a Polar Silver example, I really enjoyed it. Afterwards when I acquired my Artic Silver C2S, I preferred that one. Both silvers are great; Artic probably a bit more classic; neither are "very common."

Given that the C2S with the split grill was only available in MY97-98 and coincidentally the same two years that Artic Silver was produced, any "silver" outside of that combination is a poser
