The early cars sit pretty low. I'm pretty sure the diameter of the 16" tires will lift the car up a little bit. Hope to have them ordered and on the car in the next few days.

Sweet! You got the plates too. Thanks for the engine photo. Very nice. I love the upholstered engine compartment lining.

It will look much more the part with the correct wheels and "turbo" rings. The pre-A wheels were usually body color which I saw yours are. Wow, what a nice find. I just put the engine back in the 356 last weekend after a new clutch. It really is a joy to work on too. Very relaxing and always something to do! If I was only allowed one car it would be the 356 hands down, no hesitation.

Beautiful car - what a head turner!

A car like this in this condition at 60ish years almost has the potential to live forever. I know we talk about passing on to the next generation. But this car has already been there done that.

Congrats... I have a feeling that the feel good factor on this car is here to stay!
