Yeah, arent hardbacks in the same territory as CF GT3 seats? I've seen them 6-7K in the past?

If I had more 993's, then I'd be like Rudy. HB's are a must have for every one of my stable, if I had a stable.

And I'd definitely want more detailed pics, before clicking the BIN button.

4 crappy pics for a $5500 BIN listing? Seller's a goof.

Why not buy gt3 seats for half the price most times?
I have a alcantara set for sale for $2k if anyone is interested. Few minor scratches in the back. More pics available too

Because they are a dime a dozen and people are looking for period-correct seats for their air-cooled cars these days.

That being said, the fact that the seats in the Ebay listing haven't sold yet speaks for itself.

Which is why we were all amazed at the hardbacks that sold last week for $1,200.

Spoke to soon; looks like the BIN was exercised for $5,500 (which is too bad for the buyer as I offered to buy these for $4,500 and the seller countered at $4,750). Some people have more money than brains.

According to the ad, the best offer was accepted, so they were sold for something less than $5,500. Although, when you're buying seats for $5,000 +/-, for a car that's roughly worth between $50,000-$300,000, a few hundred dollars extra for HB's seems like a rounding error to me.

I didn't "lose" anything. I chose not to buy them. Don't have a car to put them in as my 993 already has sport seats. As far as the insult, perhaps you can thin the herd a bit and use the funds to enroll in an "English as a second language" course or better yet hire Sarah Palin to tutor you; either would be an improvement
