I think you are referring to the K40 radar installed by the PO, it has indicators in the oil temp gauge for the front or rear sensor. However, it beeps like crazy on the road so I just leave it off and use my trusty V1....

Andy,

Congrats!
Enjoy/share the car with your girls while you can put them back there. It won't be long when they don't want to because seats just won't fit anymore...
Nice find and mods.
Welcome!

Thanks! Please keep me posted...=)
I'll probably try to enjoy my car in its current form for a while...still in the saving mode for the upgrades...=P

I don't have conceal display, so basically just clipped the V1 onto the visor and ran the power wire around the windshield to the center console. The previously installed garage remote that I've removed had a switchable 12V power so I just tapped into that...

Also found a 1996 Porsche calendar and a GT-2 model in my closet...guess my passion for P-cars started way back then....

Hey thanks Andy, where did you run the wire going from the A-pillar to the dash? I have been putting off installing my Redline radar detector for far too long.

I had a similar experience, I was looking at some of my old toy cars and I realized one of my favorite cars (back in the day) was actually a 993 GT1.

I ran the wire under the rubber trim along the windshield and A-pillar. I then removed the dash side panel trim and the vent and ran the wire through there. Hope this helps, I will try to take some pics later if needed.

What did you use on those seats? They look like a different set. Great job!
