Default 350z shift **** in my 993

I have an extra 350z shift **** laying around. The internal threads are M8x1.25.

I was thinking about making something to allow me to attach to the 993. The shift know is weighted, so I thought why not.

I will post picks once I figure out a way to get around going from a post to a thread.

I measured the thickness of the post @ .320", and the diameter of the bolt is less.

Have a couple of ideas which I will model up on the old computer.

Its a weighted shift ****, and it kinda bummed me out to have it just sit in a box.
It really doesn't look that bad when done. I should have something soon.

I admit, I am somewhat of a ricer, but even that last picture is an insult to the car :-(.

Just need to put the boot on, and it will look fine. I bet, if i didn't tell you it was from a 350z, no one would be the wiser.

You realize the shift pattern is not the same, right?
