Elephant Racing control arm bushings installed
I've installed a few dozen sets of Chris Walrod's polyurethane bushings over the last 7 or 8 years and have a full compliment of shop tools to make it a smooth process. Every so often I receive a request to install OE-style rubber bushings (either factory or Elephant Racing). To date, I've respectfully declined as I was worried about distorting the new bushing shells in some fashion.
I finally threw caustion to the wind and rebuilt a set of arms for a fellow Rennlister using Elephant Racing's 'Sport Hardness' bushings. End result - the new bushings went in without a hitch. So, if you'd like to have a set of arms rebuilt with Walrod, Porsche, or Elephant bushings, send a PM. I can take care of it for you.

I do not have a preference, other than to say that I installed the Walrod bushings shortly after Chris developed them. The bushings took care of a front-end wiggle and have shown no degradation in the years since. I'm a happy customer.
The Elephant bushings went in as designed and I wasn't left covered head to toe in polyurethane bushing grease.
So it's really what you feel comfortable with, after researching the various options.

If you are up for it, we can tackle rear links in winter. Is there a way to update the ball joints in the rear A-arm?
