Great post, and glad to see another 993 added to the PNW. Thanks for sharing. I love road trips, especially in Porsches. Keep enjoying that car!

Super sweet!!!! Congrats and awesome.

A couple of us are heading to mike J's BBQ (Vancouver bc) in a couple weeks. Would be cool to add a buddy to our mini gang!!! Great looking car!!!

I drove to Bellingham this evening from Olympia. The weather was gorgeous and all I could think about was how blessed I was!!!!

Great trip and great car!!

Anyone know what brake ducts those are with the square lights? I've seen them around before but most I see for sale are the ones with the round lights...can't decide which I like better.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone. I'll be seeing you (local) guys around at drives, meets, and 'fests in the near future.

To anyone considering doing a road trip: just do it! Just bring a quart of oil with you and gas up. I highly recommend spending several days throughout Wyoming and South Dakota. They are the most beautiful states I have seen. Black Hills, Bad Lands, Yellowstone, etc. You cannot go wrong and you'll thank me for it.

Bravo! That looks like a really great trip and a really nice car. Glad to hear it was without incident...except for the brake dust.

TechArt units. Carnewal sells them. I also like them, one day (insert sigh sounds here).

To the OP, welcome! Great trip. I have a couple of family members that have done the coast to coast, funny how similar the pics are. I've thought about making a Florida run. Furthest I've done in the 993 is San Francisco to the south and Whistler to the north.

Congratulations and thanks for posting the pictures. A couple of years ago I took a two week road trip (6700+ miles, 21 states) and enjoyed every single minute of it. I should have done what you've done and posted pictures (I guess I still can and should). I enjoy reading things like this plus they give me ideas as to where to go next.

I would highly encourage anyone to take a road trip like this if they are so inclined, it's a fabulous experience.

Looks like you took the Chief Joseph Highway route to Yellowstrone?

Thanks for posting. Great shots.

Close, but I came to Cody from the east (Burlington, Otto, etc.) then headed to YS via the East entrance. Down to Old Faithful, then West entrance to Bozeman, MT.

However, had I known about Chief Joseph, I would have done that. Looks beautiful as well. Oh well, next time. :-)

So jealous! My epic drive back through the mountains and the "Tail of the Dragon" on the way back from Alabama to PA...turned into 18hrs of torrential monsoons
