Default Can anyone ID this part?

Hi folks I'm chancing my arm asking two in quick succession so apologies for that . I'm doing a refresh underneath and noticed this pipe near the oil filter was torn and loose. What is it and what's the part number please? I'm looking through the PET but can't get a definite match. The cloth / material part doesn't have hose clips . Any ideas ? Not the orange one - the one beyond the orange pipe. Thank you!

It's part of the piping system that sucks clutch disc dust into the air filter on the engine. Completely useless -- was an EPA thing. Disconnect hose from the plastic mount on the bellhousing of the gearbox, throw in garbage, and enjoy not ordering a replacement.

This pipe introduces clutch dust into your air filter. Not using it will make your filters last waaaaay longer.

If you remove it from the bell housing you might want to cover that hole with a screen or something so that gravel or other foreign objects don't enter the clutch bell housong and make clutch salad.

Midway along the pipe there is a support bracket connected to the engine tin by a couple of screws or small bolts. The far end attaches to the airbox as noted; if you decide to remove the whole pipe you can buy an oval grommet (993 110 333 00) to fill that hole, stock with tiptronic cars.

If you leave the black plastic mount on the bellhousing, which has an angled fitting that protrudes outward an inch or two, there's really no chance of debris getting in there. 50K miles and no probs for me.
