why go to Germany when you can get them in the good old USA,. Got mine from

According to Waldemar, he has the original OEM embossing stamp/tool for the leather; the only one in the world.

sdm: I wasn't aware that Bob made HB seats. I did know he does a nice job recovering HB seats. When did he make yours?

about 4 years ago. The quality of the leather is spot on and I went for the embossed crest as well

Not sure about that claim. I've read and seen a couple of leather specialists in the UK that can emboss too. One being DesignLS that specialise in Porsche re-trims: http://www.designls.co.uk/index.php/...antara-options

Psshhhawww. Embossing is for 4-bit aficionados. Zilog Z-80 enthusiasts. You wanna go for full resolution - laser etching these days. ;-) (a bit of tongue in cheek).
This was done by the Porsche 928 Seat Master (so specialized that he specializes in a MODEL of Porsche), Paul Champagne.

Totally agree. Bob does excellent work and is very very detailed oriented. I supplied extra thick leather and he took the time to skive it just right to fit the contours of the dash, door handles, knee bolster, etc.
