Jamie,
As Bob stated, mariginal quailty...
A friend of mine has a B&B on his '79 911 and has to re-weld seems a few times already. He also just purchased a 964 3.6T that had a B&B on it. It is leaking too!

I put 35K miles on a set of B&B's with no quality issues at all. The one problem was they have a lot of resonance within a 300rpm band. I loved the sound of the pipes, so I learned to shift around them. This finally became tiresome, and I just recently swapped them out.

Thanks. Not very positive reviews here. Darn, first the final Matrix movie, and now these get panned. A day of disappointment I'm affraid. Of course, I will still see the movie and may still buy the car. Current owner still has the original mufflers.

No B&B for me, never, ever!
I bought my car with B&Bs on the car. I thought they were Porsche factory tips, etc...little did I know that the PO had replaced his factory sound package mufflers with the B&Bs. What an idiot.
The resonated like a mo fo at 3000 RPM. I called B&B and told them of my unhappy state. They said, ship them over and we'll check them out, fix and or replace them if necessary. In the interim, I went ahead and ordered Robin Sun's RSR mufflers so I could drive the car.
I recontacted B&B: Note they did not contact me. They came up with some BS story about one of the mufflers being older than the other, one a new design, one an old design. The reneged on their promise to repair and or replace and sent the mufflers back to me.
I found a cash buyer for the B&Bs for about what I paid for the RSRs...I will not let another product from B&B darken my door again, ever, for any reason. Prong me once shame on you, prong me twice, shame on me.

B&B's on my 97 c4s. Sound great; do resonate just under 3,000. If the previous owner had not made the switch, I would have gone with RSR's. I've had both, RSR's are much better.

Same story as Martins. PO exchanged motorsound mufflers for B&B mufflers and headers. Hated sound , gave me a headache(cab is loud enough), kept the headers but sold the B&Bs. Generous Lister gave me good deal on stock cans and even helped me install them(thanks again John!). Passed the favor on the another Lister who wanted the B&Bs. Enjoying the enhanced audio system now so loud exhaust of no interest to me now.
