With the dollar strong, I found a car I really liked with high miles but extensive service records for EUR 140k.

Same here. Elferspot, had it inspected at the local porsche dealer and storing it until it hits the 25 year mark (one of the last ones built). Pricing slightly softer and found a spec I’d always wanted……. Shipping and importing after the 25 year mark not a huge deal. Bonus has been driving it around europe this summer.
