Is there a DIY for Harness Install?
Hi
Wanting to install 6-point harnesses in my '96 993TT. I already have a roll bar installed, and am looking for DIY instructions for the 6-point harnesses. Anyone know if/where this might be posted?
Thanks

Joe:
There is a DIY for 5 points on Robin Sun's www.p-car.com under the DIY link. I think that that DIY will have what you need for anchors, etc. Take a look.

However, I've sold my seats and seat adapters to ZCAT (Bill) in HMB.

Jeff, I do not have seat adapters. The Pole Position I have fits right into the 993TT. I do have two bars which were used for sub-belt holders, but these go between the rear seat bolts. I do not believe they will provide the proper angle for a 6-point harness. They would do for a 5-point.
(BTW, I notice in your sig that you've sold your 993TT. Who's the LUCKY guy? Also, is that a pic of my car you're using as an avatar? )

If you're up for drilling holes in your car this is how I did it. You can get the angle of the belts right and it is very secure.
This is where the eye bolts were located under the seat. I hacked away some of the tin pan you see there to get the bolt seated to the floor. No doubt lightened the car as well.
This is under the car where the bolts came through. The bolts are covered with a 3M undercoat material.
I hope this helps.
