I do want Top Gear to stay on Discovery. I lost a lot of respect for Top Gear when it went from interesting/educating to entertaining. But as an entertaining program showing new "cool" car, it's good and therefore I'd like it to stay.

id rather see new episodes of Fifth Gear. I think Tiff and his woman are better than the clown on TopGear. Is Fifth grear still being made in the uk? Im tired of only seeing reruns.

This is the response I got from Discovery...
Thank you for contacting Discovery Channel. We appreciate you taking the
time to share your thoughts and concerns with us regarding “Top Gear.”
Your comments will be forwarded to our program management and executives
and will be taken into consideration.

The "Top Gear" show was not "taken off the air" but rather ran its pattern.
It is being revamped for a U.S. audience and will return later this year.
Look for it in December.

Fifth gear is still being made. The new season has just started and is now 1 hour long. I think it's a better show than Top Gear because Tiff, Vicki and Jason (Plato...Touring Car champ) are all racing drivers, whereas JC is a journalist (but I do like his sense of humour).
