Talking New Toy!

I posted this on the 993 board as well.

It's been two years since I have sat in a 993. I have been looking for the right one for about 1 1/2 years now. It has been a brutal, fun search. I finally found what I was looking for. This weekend, I picked up my 1997 993 Twin Turbo S. Arctic Silver on Black. I absolutely love the car. I was torn between a TT and a TT S. I couldn't pass on the S.

When I first sat in the car, it felt like home. You guys have no idea how lucky you are. These cars are great. Sell your's, and you'll miss it as much as I missed my 993's. I am a big guy. At 6'4" and 265 lbs, I fill a car. In all honesty, I felt more comfortable sitting in the 993 than I do in my 740i, my daily driver (not for long...). It was amazing how this car envelops me. I love it.

Anyhow, below are some pictures. The car came from Truspeed. This is the second car I bought from them, and I couldn't be happier with their service, approach, and enthusiasm.

the rear pic, it looks Arctic ????
love the contrasting yellow calipers--perfect!

Mark, congrats.. All three cars gone in less than a few weeks.. When I was at Tru-speed last weekend, all the cars appeared to have buyers..

You can't go wrong, investing in these cars. When you look at what the sticker was, vs what they end up selling for today. Your silver car was a good find.

Congratulations!

I was over at Herg's last Friday and saw the car sitting beautifully in their lot.
Enjoy it in good health.

PS. What happened to the white TT-S that you mentioned earlier??

PK:

The GW TTS wasn't so. It was a TT to TTS conversion, as far as I remember.

Marty:

It is Arctic Silver.
