Jimmy the fugitive,
(Sorry... I like that name too much to let it go) Congrats on the positive outcome. But mainly... thanks for your great sense of humor and entertaining writing.

In Orange county one must attend their traffic school. I hear that you nned to take a test for the on line school in LA. If I can get the on line school, I'll call you for the answers . You did pass, right.
POST SCRIPT:
I've tried to share information whenever possible, as that is the whole purpose of these forums. The one exception is to Kevin who wants my shock valve settings, and I've refused unless he posts his compressor maps. I hope if one of you rennlisters have an encounter like mine, and you will, its in our DNA, get a good lawyer. For those that know me personally, I keep my high speed heroics on the track. But every so often the red mist can attack. Human's are prone to make mistakes.
DO NOT GO IT ALONE. You wouldn't take your Porsche to a chevy dealer for mechanical work. So don't try to take the legal system on without help.

i second jjb's post script.
i have had my share of "mistakes" before i realized that going to the tracks is far cheaper and safer.
and sherm does a good job minimizing my punishment.

non of my offenses are as "interesting" as jay, but i had to appeal most of them. you go 10 mph over, and they freak out.

JjayB,
Great write up ....Congrats on the win!....OC requiring you to attend their traffic school is precisely why I register the Porsche in OC but my license shows my Long Beach P.O. Box...get to do internet traffic school in LA county...last time it took me all of 45 minutes to do at trafficschool.com
