Very classy Andy.
First you gratuitously bash my Andial car for no apparent reason with erroneous information and now you advertise your car on my for sale thread.
Nice.

Apologies Scott - I didn't mean to hijack your thread in anyway - just joiing in the discussion here.

If there was anyway that I had the funds available I would jump on the opportunity to buy your car - I hope you know that.

Best of luck

The real way to doa 3.8 is to bore the case and use thicker based cylinders. Just my 2 cents. Good luck with the new car. I like the older one better
Andy,
Were you drinking when you wrote the above post? Plesase tell who had the rebuild after one week? Was it the guy who tracked his car ran the hi boost program with 91 octane on a 98 deg day and when the fan belt broke kept running the car. Ya, I heard of that one. I have the list of all 19 twin plug 3.8's built. The customer could opt for the slipper or machined. It's just a matter of money and customer preferrence.
Several cars have over 10K track miles which would indicte a favorable reliability rate by any measure. Andial used GT1 turbos on its 3.8's not K24's.

Many cars are reputed to be Andial built and upon further checking, the owners only purchsed the parts from Andial. Sounds like that might be the case you cite with K24's. BTW, the K24 set up was more for the track than the street where low end wasn't an issue. Some guys just want a bigger turbo that wasn't designed for the street. On the track it would mop up a chipped stocker. Cheers

I apologize, i was not bashing scott's car. I was basing my opinion on a Riveria blue TT in NY. the car did come with standard k24s and the work was done by andial. He may have killed the car on the track but that I don't know for sure. The car required a total engine rebuild and the slip ins were warped. Also the programing was way off. I think I have the dyno sheets of that car compared to mine somewhere. I would not post my parts for sale here that's a stupid remark, I was simply mentioning i had a modded TT for sale as well. That's a crime now ? Ask the JD to delete the post that's fine.

I purchased this car and then sold it, but held on to some of the goodies. Does anyone know what a set of FVD Cat bypasses are worth. I want to clear them out of my garage.

Mike,

Hey! Long-time since I've heard from you.

Instead of dragging up a 6 year-old thread, why don't you start a new one with the title "993TT FVD Cat-bypasses: I want to sell... what are they worth?". You'll get a lot better response.

And now people are contacting me to see if the car is still available.........

To anyone looking at this thread, Frank is long gone.
I might part with El Guapo if the price is right though....
