I recently bought a 993TT WLSII , my prefered colours were polaris silver and dark blue metallic (midnight- or iris blue). I "ended" up with iris-blue metallic and blue interior. Owning the car for 4 weeks I am convinced I couldn't have chosen better!

Sorry, I believe that Speed Yellow is actually the fastest colour

Why else would it have SPEED in the name?

Good marketing? Or bad marketing, depending on your POV?

Ok, I do love black...

If Darth Vader drove a car, it would be a black on black 993 GT2, right?

I think colour choice is number 1 on the list. If you set your heart on a silver car, buying any other colour just won't be the same. I've always liked the 993TT in silver but when I started looking for GT2's I decided silver was not the best choice, so midnight blue or black became the preffered. When I heard about my one in Ocean Blue Metallic I thought oh no. I had seen a 993 targa in this colour (turned out that it was Ocean Green Metallic). When I saw it for the first time with the sun shining on the **** end I was stunned. Definately the best colour in the world (imo anyway) and would look equally as fantastic on a 993TT. Anyone on here have a TT in this colour ?.
Yep, mine is ocean blue metallic and I love that colour - it is great on the TT. And I agree with silver and the GT2 - darker colours are much better with them.

If that were true, Scott SPEED would still be driving in formula one.

Iris blue is my favorite color for the 993. I had a C4 Areo Kit in Iris blue. I looked for a 993 TT in that color, but struck out so I got Midnight blue, which I also love. My 996 Turbo was Lapis blue. I still like Iris Blue the best, if I could get a new GT2, that would be the color, I tried to get my RS in that color (no, no, and no from Porsche).

Great looking car.

Too true. Last time I checked he wasn't even doing so well where he was ... and that wasn't F1!

Strange isn't it that some colours suit a very similar car far better. I thought silver would be the preffered choice for the GT2 but looking at various cars around darker was the better. There's a riviera blue GT2 for sale, looks the nuts on a 993RS but awful on the GT2. Ocean blue is a mega colour. The paint flip is just awesome. On tuesday I picked up the GT2 from a mates garage. It's been there for a couple of weeks whilst some work was being done in the garage area. A chap called Mike Pullen was there with a friend of his looking at a Countach periscope that he has to do a lot of work on. He owns Carrera Sport in the UK, works on Porsche, ferrari but predominately Lamborghini. (absolutey top, top man). He says I hear you've bought a GT2, I've always wanted one. It's here I've just come to pick it up. Lets have a look, Si does his nut, he's here to look at the Lambo. Fu*k that he wants to look at some quality German engineering, not some peace of Italian crap. (all in jest). Tuesday was a cold but sunny day. When I pulled the car out and the sun hit it their jaws just dropped. Mike could not believe it was a standard factory colour, cheers Graeme
