I am terribly sorry to hear of such horrible news. I can think of few worse things than getting "that call". I will keep this precious child in my prayers and please, as others have said, lean on the Lord during these difficult times.

Thats something that never entered my mind. I forgot the world was such a cruel place for a minute there.

Anyway, Tessa had a series of operations on Sunday night and now has more plates in her than I have in my pantry. She is holding her own and she is managing a few breaths on her own, and then the machine kicks in again.
Today they are going to try to bring her back and yesterday they started to lessen the ammounts of whatever it is that keeps you asleep.
They have warned us that there was a fair ammount of head trauma, so they are not sure what part of her brain will be affected. They warned it maybe her personality but they can't be sure. She will be very forgetfull for around 6 months which is probably a good thing. She was revived from the black hole at the scene but they said there was still enough oxyegen in her blood that they were confident.
So today or tommorrow we should have a clearer picture. Thanks from my bro and I for all the awesome well wishes.
