Default Took the Car to Lime Rock

Had my first track day since I put in the new turbos. I did an advanced day with PDA. The car is a totally Wow. I ran a couple laps at a minute flat with Hoosier R6's leaving plenty on the table. There was a GTR out there - which I was driving circles around. A couple new z06's that were pretty quick. I got black flagged for being too loud. Said they had me at 99dbs. I guess K24's and evo pipes are too loud. Went out in a later session and wasn't running WOT, that seemed to work, sacrificed some lap times but worked on the line. Way too much fun.

Cant wait till Watkins Glen May 1,2,3!!!!

The Glen is a nice high speed track.... Had my Evo-8 and Evo -9 MR at that track many times... You will enjoy it very much. Lot's of braking going into turn 1, might want to bring an extra set of front pads.

You'll definitely have more fun at The Glen. Who are you running with on May 1, 2, 3?

Trust me I know all about the glen, my fav track. This is some vid from saturday http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lTHQmOf2qik , this is after I got flagged for being too loud so I wasn't getting on it 100%. It was still spinning alll the wheels under 3/4 wheels on the uphill.

Im going up with Trackmasters - open track all day friday. I have spare rotors, pads and tires.

Better video with data overlay to follow.

Look in your mirrors, that red hump is my 356.
My best "qualified" time there was a 1:02, In practice/testing I turned 1:00.1 to 1:01 with regularity.
1600 cc pushrod 4 / 8300 RPM. LOL.
NICE vid, its fun chasing Vettes.
