Default Finally got my car back - and it hauls

Want to thank Jay Putnam, he turned my car into a beast. Heads, cams, new rings, monoballs, lwf , completely overhauled my clutch system, cat bypasses, changed just about every hose in the car, even took apart and refreshed my wheels.

Car runs just great (maybe a little loud). I know many have modified your cars, but I couldn't be happier. Even put in the LED for the dash. Next will be upgraded turbo's. Thanks again Jay for putting a big smile on my face.
Jays got a slew of pictures, hopefully he will post them when he gets back from vacation.
Better find a good ticket lawyer......

That sounds sweet Mike.
I mean, my car is stock and brings a huge smile every time I drive it.
So all I can do is imagine how good it feels. Enjoy!

i cant believe you took apart the engine new cams and the works but didnt upgrade the turbos. you are running stock k16s with internals redone, that doesn;t seem right. usually the bolt ons are step one turbos, cats, mufflers,ecu, 5 bar fpr, oil cooler, then once you are used to the power consider internals.

Your right, but once we started with the heads, I figured why not get some of the big stuff out of the way, and have a base to add the upgraded turbo's etc. Give me something to look foward to. When I go turbo's (hopefully not to far in the future) I need to decide if I take the boost controller out (runs 1.1 bar) and just go with new software. Another reason I want to wait.

Hope to post some pictures next week........

Hey Mike, got your email today, wifey is culling some pics of the project. I will post them a.s.a.p.
Why didnt anyone see me driving your car around the area? Could it have blurred under acceleration ?
I promised I kept it under 100 MPH (at least while going backwards I did...). Honest.
