FD Motorsports enlarges my pipe(s)

I drove all the way to Knightsen (where the hell is that?) to have Mark & Darin of FD Motorsports do a few "tweaks" to Rufus. The primary focus was to eliminate all the teasing I've been getting from Javier and Kevin about the small size of my pipes.

First... what a pair of nice guys. Porsche addicts and perfectionists. Very reasonable charges and fabulous work. Except for the damn long drive, this is the perfect place to get everything done on a Porsche. As for the drive... well worth it.

The first picture is a "before" shot of Rufus and his puny pipes. Next, let the circumcision begin. And the rest are after... I love it. Getting the outlets on a center exhaust to be perfectly aligned is no small feat... this is better than a factory job... its perfect!

Looks great. I have been lazy and busy at the same time for a while, or I would have sent my mufflers to Darin for some work by now....

It was great to hang out with you yesterday... I think Rufus was in a dream I had last night. Is that wierd?

So the surgery was for aesthetics only? Or with a change in tone also?

Rufus has sport cats and no mufflers....so, this was more like finish work. His original pipes were smaller and a little crooked, so we fixed that up and added a little attitude.

Huh? Aesthetics only? Mark and Darin promised me a minimum of 50 extra HP with these larger tail pipes.

Seriously, these new tips are very functional, their function being to look bitchin'. Thanks everyone for their kind comments. One of these days, a new avatar.
