Since RAC no longer represent RUF in the US there are unable to obtain any of these parts. Change of plans/ tuning.

Welcome mi Andial amigo in Alemania!
I see you now have our hermano CJ Wilson's car.
Kinda seems like you really wanted a RUF rather than an Andial.
(Although I do admit I have the A pillar do-hickeys on El Guapo.)

Stopping at "Andial Porsche in Mexico Blue" would be good enough for me. JK - congrats on the purchase. I've been for a ride in that monster before and it goes like stink! Enjoy!

I love the Ruf goodies, and have almost all of them, except for the instruments. I especially like the feel of the Ruf steering wheel and shifter handle. The Ruf seats are amazing. The Ruf suspension seems like quite an improvement over the standard PSS-9.

My tires are 255x30x19 and 315x25x19, Toyo Proxies T1R

Congrats on owning a great car!

Adam. Congrats. That is an amazing car and very fast. If you are not familiar with the prior owner, research CJ Wilson of the Texas Rangers.

I have seen that car many times. Simply awesome.

Can RUF Germany help with any of your desired upgrades? My car was converted in Germany. They do good work...

Manthey may seem a viable alternate plan

TTS front spoiler is good, Mexico blue is good, gearbox mod's are good (I'm assuming this is autobahn related). Wheel choices are very personal. Personally I don't like how 19" wheels look on our cars. When I owned my turboR I had two sets of 18" wheels - RUF and BBS Motorsport. That worked for me. blackie just runs on BBS MS wheels now.

I think I saw that beauty in Eureka Springs (Palooza) a couple of years ago. Nice car. Congratulations!

Lightbulb thinking out loud

After a evening of research and few beers.

Gearbox modifications. Ideas with the gearing would be great. Cost being a factor too.
I would like to have good top end speed of 360, without trying not to max out my rpm.
1st. 2nd. 3rd. 4th. 5th. 6th.
3.15 1.79 1.27 0.97 0.76 0.60 (360km/h)
Cooling system
LS Diff (40/60)

Interior
Speedometer Update to 360km/h – 220mph

Wheels
Five Star design 8,5 x 19 / 11 x 19 power coated in texture black (brand still undecided)
Tire Size
255x30x19 and 315x25x19

Hi Adam,

I have driven in that beast of a machine. Very nice!

Are you having all the body panels removed for the painting to Mexico Blue? I am very interested in your project!

Cheers,

John

If you want the RUF look, can't you get that stuff from RUF in Germany?

You may want to talk to the Limey's that do the VMAX runs, such as Toby, about raising the gearing.
From what I understand these guys are not really "comfortable" at uber-high speeds.
If you are going to track the car, you might actually consider lowering 6th gear.
This was one of the "secret weapons" that Jimmy The Felon did to Blackie (now BB993TT's car) that made it pretty much undefeated at Willow Springs. Fierce acceleration past 165 mph.....
I agree with BB993tt about 18 inch wheels. I sold my RUF 19s and went with 18" BBS motorsports too.
One of the best mods I ever did was the GT2 uprights and tie rods. It transforms the ride on a lowered car.

Where are you going to get the Andial 3.8 raised lettering? I'm still deciding what to put on the tail of El Guapo.

Oh by the way, I am now the keeper of the Andial 3.8 Twinplug Registry, so drop me a PM with your contact information and some pics and information about your car and I'll get you in the database.
